ASX 5010 -.56% on the week
NAB promises to pass on .25% rate cut [The Australian]
UK economy now absolutely fucked [The Australian]
ACCC shares concerns over BHP merger [The Australian]
Hapless super investors decide to play the market themselves [The Australian]
(This really gets me down, because mum and dad investors who do the share selection themselves tend to get burnt badly unless they invest in a balanced portfolio of blue chip shares. I imagine there are plenty of SMSF investors who have lost far more than most of the big funds by greedily allocating big pieces of their portfolio into single shares like Centro, ABC Learning, Babcock & Brown.)
